success

We are shifting away from the victim mindset around responsibility in today’s episode. As entrepreneurs, we are one-hundred percent responsible as leaders. If you’re leading a team, you are accountable for owning it.

As the owner of your business, nobody will care as much or work as hard as you do, so stop complaining about it. Start looking at responsibility as freedom. It’s an absolute honor that you’re an entrepreneur, and you get to run the show for your business. You get to carry out your vision and values. You get to make your business what you want it to be.

Establish clear responsibilities and create systems to stop resenting your responsibility and the people who work with you. We often gloss over the energy that we bring to our responsibilities and how we perform our tasks. Are you just “checking boxes” on tasks that need to be done, or are you bringing a sense of ownership and responsibility to those tasks?

It’s time to stop being reactive instead of responsive. Step up and take ownership.
