Last weekend, I traveled to Springfield, MO, to complete the final session of a six-month Achieve Big Money Goals coaching program. This transformative journey included bi-weekly phone sessions focused on the profit pyramid and two immersive weekend events: The 48-Hour Breakthrough 1.0 and 2.0. After attending 1.0 in November, I returned for 2.0—a powerful conclusion to six months of growth. Reflecting on the progress, I can confidently say I’m no longer the same person I was when I started.
Breaking Free to Achieve Big Money Goals
The first event, 1.0, was all about identifying and eliminating the barriers that hold you back in both business and life. It helped participants set boundaries, identify blind spots, and dismantle the mental constraints rooted in fear and worst-case scenarios. By confronting these challenges head-on, we learned how to step into our potential with clarity and confidence.
Embracing Big Money Goals with Confidence
The focus of 2.0 was learning how to get paid what you’re worth. Within the first hour, we were tasked with setting ambitious revenue goals for the next 60 days and the following year—then doubling them. We also doubled our hourly fees, time off, and the time spent directly engaging with clients, which is the most profitable activity in our businesses.
Was it uncomfortable? Absolutely. During hour one, the discomfort was palpable. However, by hour 48, fear, excuses, and doubts were replaced with clarity and resolve. We realized that assumptions often block our progress, as we’re conditioned to seek problems rather than solutions. By addressing these mental blocks, I created space for new opportunities. For example, after firing a misaligned client mid-flight home, I immediately received a message from a new client eager to work with me.
Achieve Big Money Goals to Drive Impact
Achieving big money goals isn’t just about personal success—it’s about creating the resources to serve others and make a meaningful impact. As our coach, Lora Newman, emphasized, “How you do money is how you do everything. If you don’t focus on money, it will find a way to get your attention.”
To help us take actionable steps, Lora challenged us to identify areas where we weren’t fully showing up in our businesses. We pinpointed four key areas and shifted our focus to where we wanted to be, deliberately avoiding the “how,” which often stifles progress.

What shifts can you make today to honor the growth of your business? Consider these three steps:
